The Nutcracker Tea Party
Dress in your tea party apparel and come ready to dream in the Land of Sweets with this interactive experience geared toward pre-school and elementary-aged children and their families. At the tea, guests will enjoy a pancake brunch with teas and juices. Children will have the opportunity to take their passport through the Land of Sweets, interacting and learning from Nutcracker dancers, collecting autographs, and enjoying arts and crafts. There is even a photo opportunity with the Sugar Plum Fairy. Guests will also have the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets towards a number of ballet/nutcracker themed items. Guests are encouraged to bring their cameras to capture these special moments.

$45 each / $425* for a table of 10 by December 4th, 2022
(*To activate table pricing, add 10 tickets to your cart. When you click "continue with checkout", the discount will be reflected in your order.)
At time of purchase, please list if there is another party with whom you would like to be seated. Otherwise, tables will be assigned on a first come, first served basis. All seating is limited and subject to availability.
Please Note: A Nutcracker performance ticket is not included with the Nutcracker Tea Party. Nutcracker Performance tickets sold separately.

Can I purchase a ticket to attend only the Tea and not the Nutcracker performance?Yes, tickets to the attend the tea are sold separately.

Is the Tea at the same place as the Nutcracker performance?Yes. This year, The Nutcracker performances and The Tea will be taking place at Our Lady of Good Counsel Performing Arts Center, located at 17301 Old Vic Blvd, Olney, MD 20832.

Do adults need to purchase tickets to The Tea?Yes, this is a ticketed event and every person attending the tea must have a ticket. In addition, all children must be accompanied by an adult. Children 2 and up, and those requiring a seat, will need their own ticket to the event. Please note that Our Lady of Good Counsel does not have high chairs or booster seats.

Can I purchase a ticket to the Tea the day of the event?This year, tickets WILL NOT be sold at the door. We also strongly recommend purchasing your tickets to the Tea as soon as possible as capacity is limited and does SELL OUT.

I bought tickets to see the Nutcracker performance on a separate day, but would still like to attend the tea. Is that possible?"Yes (subject to availability), tickets to the Tea are sold separately, and there is no show on the day of the Tea this year.

Do I need to bring my ticket with me to the Tea?Yes, please! Kindly bring your Tea ticket(s) to ensure quick entry into the Tea. Your tickets will have been purchased through Dance Recital Ticketing, so check your inbox for an email from them to find your tickets. If there are any issues pulling up your tickets, please reach out to chair@olneyballettheatre.org.
